This would probably be very hard to do for non-human models.
It would be interesting to see it on heroes, though. ;P

The thing is, the heroes aren't technically part of your guild. Clipping issues would annoy me too

well technically, your not actually saving the world. technically, you can't cast meteor. it's a game, sure let them have capes.

I personally cannot stand wearing my guild cape, not because its rubbish or anything, just because i don't like having a cape on. Hell it even pisses me off for 5 minute PVP lol.

+1 for employing logic instead of personal taste.

This person shares my sense of humor!
"your" should be "you're"... other than that, I am with you 100%.

Don't see why not. Just so long as their is a way to hide them like for our characters.

There is a separation between what makes sense in the real world and what makes sense in the game. You are actually saving the world, using magic, etc in the context of the game, and heroes are not a part of your guild. Magic makes sense in GW, because it's part of the world; heroes with capes do not.

Sounds like a waste of developer resources to me
As for capes on minipets....that would be very amusing but quite difficult to implement
As for capes on tamed pets....again a kewl novelty but somewhat difficult to implement

How would you suggest developers use their resources more effectively then? Personally, little things like this are what keep me coming back to GW. I think they're just as important for the keeping the community involved as tweaks to balance and gameplay.

LOL, I don't even wear my own cape! But it'd be kinda hilarious to see my mini Kuunavang flying JAR's colors, so whatever. /neutral

I hate capes, so no. Beyond the fact that it'd cost way too many resources to implement and will never be done...

I'd like to see how they put a cape on a mini Ooze or Eye of Janthir. As noted, heroes are not part of your guild, and if they had a cape, it would be based off the lore of the game (Sunspear, Luxon/Kurzick, Lightbringer, Norn, Asura, Vanguard, etc.). And adding capes to a mini would be a waste of time even if possible, and I bet the hero capes would have clipping issues. Even player armor has clipping issues with capes.

Been suggested before.
Galie specifically shot this down, as your heroes work for you, not your guild. Any suggestion a.net specifically shot down has next to zero chance of being implimented.

Bad idea unless you add a 'mini me' miniature.
Monster models are less complex than character models.

/notsigned for minipets because it would just look really bad.
/notsigned for heroes because they aren't a part of your guild, and would make no sense.
